According to Sportsboom, Boca Juniors are open to selling 20-year-old Milton Delgado this summer, with Sunderland, Leeds United, Everton and Crystal Palace monitoring, while Udinese and Torino, Real Betis and Getafe, and MLS sides Inter Miami and Atlanta United, who could use a Young Designated Player slot, are also keen, and no official offers have been made after his representatives visited Spain and England last month for talks.

The Argentina Under-20 midfielder has made more than 50 senior appearances for Boca after graduating from their academy.

Sunderland have widened their recruitment over the past year. Reinildo Mandava, Enzo Le Fee and Granit Xhaka arrived, while goalkeeper Melker Ellborg came from Malmo and winger Jocelin Ta Bi joined from Maccabi Netanya in January.

Delgado, a defensive-minded midfielder, is a regular with Argentina’s Under-20s and a senior call-up is widely expected in the coming years.

The clubs involved in last month’s talks were not specified.
