WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Lady Black Cats this morning.
The 20-year-old is a product of the Aston Villa academy system. She joined Manchester United back in 2023. Rabjohn has battled to overcome a long-term injury in the early days of her Manchester United career but she is now back to fitness and ready for regular minutes.
On the international stage, Rabjohn has represented England at various youth levels up to and including Under-19 level.
After joining Sunderland on loan, Rabjohn said “I’m very excited to be here, to play in front of the fans, as I’ve heard the club has a massive support. I know the coaches here have worked with young players, that’s perfect for me, and I know that I am where I need to be to continue improving.
“The first thing I spoke to Mel [Reay] about was the club values as that’s really important to me, and I’m just excited to get going.”
Rabjohn joins Manchester United teammate Keira Barry on Wearside this season. She could make her debut in the Barclays WSL2 fixture at Sheffield United on Friday evening.
