Sunderland’s strongest XI under Regis Le Bris based on minutes

Sunderland’s 3-0 win over Burnley has kept them in the hunt for Europe. The result moved Regis Le Bris’ side to eighth on 36 points, four off fifth-placed Chelsea.
Sunderland Echo sets out the strongest XI based on Premier League minutes under Le Bris.
Robin Roefs has played every minute, 2,160, ranking third for clean sheets, eight. Trai Hume is on 1,970 minutes. Reinildo Mandava has 1,249 after suspension and Afcon, and is second for crosses blocked with eight.
Nordi Mukiele has 1,973 minutes, leading interceptions with 32 and last-man tackles with two. Omar Alderete has 1,736 after a four-game head injury absence, topping shots blocked with 17 and second for interceptions with 25.
Granit Xhaka has 1,963 minutes and is fourth in the league for assists with five. He leads Sunderland for passes completed, 950, and big chances created, seven. Noah Sadiki has 1,686 minutes around Afcon with DR Congo and tops completed dribbles with 15.
Enzo Le Fee has 1,851 minutes, a team-high 31 chances created, plus four assists and three goals. Chemsdine Talbi is on 1,012 minutes with three goals and an assist, mainly on the right but used left after Simon Adingra’s loan to Monaco.
Bertrand Traore has 616 minutes, is second for completed dribbles with 14, and has one goal. Wilson Isidor has 1,007 minutes, scored four in his first nine league games, then none in 12, and has lost his spot to Brian Brobbey, 957 minutes, who is close to forcing his way in.
