Super-agent Ali Barat opens door to Bayern and Real Madrid for Man United wonderkid | OneFootball

Bayern Munich are among the leading candidates to sign Manchester United wonderkid JJ Gabriel, who, according to The Sun, has told the club he wants to leave and is not expected to play for them again.

Both The Sun and the Manchester Evening News report that super-agent Ali Barat has helped facilitate talks between Gabriel’s camp and Bayern Munich and Real Madrid as the 15-year-old seeks a change of scenery.

While players can't formally be represented by an agent until they turn 16, Barat and his agency, Epic Sports, are considered frontrunners to represent Gabriel after helping bring the two European heavyweights to the table.

Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund described Gabriel as an “exceptional talent” at a press conference last week, but declined to go into further detail.

“I don’t talk about players who are under contract with other clubs. We know the player because he’s very talented. He’s an exceptional talent. I can’t say anything more about that,” Freund said.
