A 23-year-old Super Dragões member detained on Monday in Pedroso, Vila Nova de Gaia, over an August incident at Estádio José Alvalade has been released after his initial judicial questioning. He is barred from entering sports venues until the inquiry concludes, according to Jornal de Notícias.

He is suspected of causing a protective glass panel to fall during the matchday four clássico between Sporting and FC Porto in August.

The defendant, an IT technician, is indicted for seven counts of qualified bodily harm. The incident left 17 people with minor injuries.

He told investigators the glass broke after he slipped, saying it was unintentional, the report said.

A home search recovered a knuckle-duster, pyrotechnic material, and several items linked to the Super Dragões.
