Mamadou Doumbia equalised in the 79th minute with a left-footed finish, as Watford drew 1-1 with Portsmouth. The 19-year-old came on at half time and changed the tempo for the hosts.

Before the goal, Doumbia slipped Marc Bola in on the left to force a save, signalling his threat between the lines and giving the Hornets a platform to build pressure.
