Josh Windass struck in the third minute of second half stoppage time and then created the winner a minute later as Wrexham won 3-2 at Queens Park Rangers.
In the 88th minute, Windass cut in from the left and forced Joe Walsh into a save, signalling the threat to come.
In the second minute of second half stoppage time, he drew another stop from Walsh from range. Moments later, following the resulting corner, he swept a right-footed shot into the top left to level (90+3.). A minute later he slid Oliver Rathbone into space to fire the decisive finish to the same corner.
He finished with five attempts, three on target, and two key passes in a six-minute cameo, adding a goal and an assist that flipped the game's momentum.
His direct running and instant willingness to shoot unsettled Queens Park Rangers, opening lanes to receive and combine in the inside left channel and ensuring Wrexham controlled the final exchanges.
Wrexham climb from 10th to sixth in the Championship and visit Sheffield Wednesday next. Queens Park Rangers remain 12th and host Coventry City next.
