Supporters group slams Flamengo’s form, demands more from squad | OneFootball

“The G.R.M.C. RAÇA RUBRO-NEGRA COMES TO THE PUBLIC TO EXPOSE THE FOLLOWING. Initially, it is necessary to highlight that this position is prompted by a series of factors, whose responsible parties are both inside and outside the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. In this sense, just as one cannot omit the decline in the professional football team's performance, one must recognize the direct, immoral, and obscure interference of refereeing in the progress of the Brazilian championship. These are two matters of special relevance to the institution and are not mutually exclusive. 1. The sports performance of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in the realm of professional football in recent months is intolerable and cannot, under any circumstances, be relativized. 1.1 Unlike past times, Flamengo currently has physical infrastructure and working conditions compatible with top-tier European football clubs. Therefore, there are no arguments capable of eclipsing the DIRECT RESPONSIBILITY of the Club's athletes for the sporting decline. 1.2. Thus, considering the million-dollar investment in forming the squad and, above all, the level of technical quality of the players that make up the team, the sudden drop in performance finds no reasonable justification and, therefore, cannot be tolerated. 1.3. Internally, the football department, represented by director José Boto and coach Filipe Luis, cannot admit the apathy shown by the players in recent matches. Far beyond wasting important points in the fight for the Brazilian championship title, players have been demonstrating what can NEVER have a place in CRF activities: lack of GRIT. 1.4. Therefore, it is necessary and urgent that the Club, through the presidency and the football department, conveys to the players and technical staff the dissatisfaction with the team's passivity and the need for changes – especially in behavior.”
