One surprise Chelsea player has been dug out for some criticism for his performance in Chelsea’s stale mate in the Premier League yesterday.

The news comes after Chelsea played out a boring 0-0 draw against Brentford in the Premier League yesterday afternoon in what was another underwhelming performance.

Enzo Maresca frustrated Chelsea fans once again with a heavily rotated starting lineup in such an important game in the race for Champions League qualification, and then he annoyed them even more with some of the excuses he came out with after the game, even blaming the weather!

The Blues boss was also frustrated though, pointing out the fact that his attackers are currently not doing enough and has called for more goals from them all.

Maresca and his players must keep going now and onto the next game later this week in the Conference League as they look to try and win some silverware this season.

Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto took the brunt of the criticisms from Chelsea fans after the game, but it is Noni Madueke who has also been called out after the game.

A report from Football Fancast says Madueke only managed one effort on the Brentford goal, alongside also failing to register a single accurate cross across his 28 touches.

He also failed to win a single duel in four attempts in the game.

They go on to report that the winger scored a low 5/10 rating from the Express’ Charlie Gordon post-match, who simply stated that he offered ‘very little.’

To be honest it was an off day for many Chelsea players once again yesterday as they dipped from a good showing against Tottenham in the week.
