„I’m delighted that we’ve been able to recruit Lars Bender as a coach for our campus. He has a huge wealth of experience as a player and has already worked as a coach both at youth level and with the men’s team. He’s also a really good guy and we could sense his enthusiasm for the job from the very first conversation with us,“ said Michael Wiesinger, Head of Sport and Youth Development, about the FCB deal
Lars Bender also commented on his new role: „It’s a privilege to take on this role at FC Bayern. The discussions were very positive right from the start. I’m looking forward to this challenge and the opportunity to develop further here.“
