Fenerbahce are preparing a major offer for Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi, with the Turkish giants ready to challenge Juventus and Napoli for the Italy international.

January has once again brought Frattesi’s future into focus. The Rome-born midfielder has struggled for consistent minutes under Cristian Chivu, a situation the Inter coach himself has openly acknowledged in recent press conferences.

With the winter window now open, a potential move away from San Siro cannot be ruled out.

Juventus have tracked Frattesi for some time, with Luciano Spalletti known to be an admirer.

Meanwhile Napoli have also monitored the situation closely.

However, the strongest interest at present appears to come from Fenerbahce.

According to reports via Eurosport, the Istanbul-based club are willing to invest up to €40 million to secure Frattesi’s signature.

It is a figure that would give Inter significant room to manoeuvre in the market and strengthen multiple areas of the squad.

Despite the financial appeal, the deal is far from complete.

As reported by SportMediaset, Frattesi is not fully convinced by a move to Turkey at this stage of his career.

The midfielder would prefer to remain in Italy, where regular playing time could better support his chances of staying in contention for a place at the World Cup.

Inter are therefore monitoring developments carefully.

Indeed, they are aware that interest is real but the player’s stance could yet shape the outcome of the negotiations.
