According to Wales Online, Swansea City chief executive Tom Gorringe has criticised what he saw as one-sided television coverage of last Friday's trip to Wrexham and says he will raise the issue with the EFL.

Wrexham won 2-0, with Nathan Broadhead opening the scoring on 25 minutes before a Liam Cullen own goal two minutes from time.

Sky Sports offered a broadcast with guest commentary from co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, produced by their own company.

In his programme notes, Gorringe said the build-up and match coverage lacked balance, that guests and focus centred on Wrexham, that there were celebrations involving presenter David Prutton, and that the advert for the commentary omitted Swansea entirely.

He urged greater care in how such events are handled and expressed hope for more even-handed coverage this weekend. The Swans are eight points off the top six before Saturday's televised meeting with Coventry City.
