The 21-year-old is making an impact during his loan spell at Dundee.
Swansea City may have a real prospect on their hands in Wales under-21 midfielder Cameron Congreve.
The 21-year-old signed a new contract that will keep him at Swansea until 2028 during the summer, before joining Scottish Premiership side Dundee on a season-long loan in August.
The Swans' academy graduate, who represented his country at youth level during the most recent international break, has made 19 first-team appearances for the club.
He spent last season on loan in League Two with Bromley and made 12 goal contributions in all competitions as the Ravens finished 11th during their debut EFL campaign, as well as reaching the Third Round of the FA Cup for the first time in their history.
The midfielder scored a memorable long-range effort to give Bromley the lead against Newcastle United at St James' Park in that fixture, which was the highlight of an encouraging spell in South London for the youngster.
Now, Congreve's development seems to be continuing on the right track, as he has made an excellent start to life in Scotland with Dundee during the early months of the 2025/26 season.
Dundee boss Steven Pressley made it clear following his side's 1-1 draw with Motherwell in September that Congreve had been a key target for the club during the summer transfer window, as per BBC Sport.
"[Cameron Congreve] was a main target for us in the summer," Pressley said.
"We weren't sure if it was going to happen. Thankfully it did.
"He's shown what an exciting talent he is. He was exceptional when he came on."
Congreve also spoke positively about his move to Dens Park earlier this month, suggesting that the deal was one that suited all parties, as per BBC Sport.
"There was a lot of new players coming in the building, but we're all gelling together really well.
"I'm settling in really well, the lads from day one helped me, they're a really good bunch.
"It's 100% the right decision, I felt that straight away as soon as I came here."
Congreve has picked up four assists in his first seven league games for Dundee, so it looks as though Swansea could have a real prospect on their hands, especially if he can continue to make an impact during the remainder of his loan spell.
Congreve has helped Dundee make history already in his short time at Dens Park.
New boss Steven Pressley led his side to a 1-1 draw Ibrox a couple of weeks prior to Congreve's arrival, which was the first time Dundee had picked up a point away against Rangers since 2001.
Despite missing out on being a part of the team that ended The Dee's drought at Ibrox, Congreve played a key role as Dundee beat Celtic for the first time since 2001, and for the first time at home since 1988.
The exciting midfielder provided an assist from a corner for the opening goal during his side's 2-0 win over the Champions, before his skillful run led to a dangerous low cross that was diverted into the net via a couple of deflections for the second.
Congreve has now helped make history during loan spells at Bromley and Dundee, so Swansea will no doubt have high hopes that he can make an impact in South Wales during the next few years.
