Swansea City beat Lincoln City 2-1 to rise from third to first in the Championship.

Early on, Lawrence Vigouroux saved from Recco Hackett-Fairchild and Deji Elerewe to keep Lincoln at bay.

Lincoln struck first when Hackett-Fairchild converted from the spot in the 39th minute after Freddie Draper was fouled by Josh Tymon. After the restart, Moussa Yeo levelled from close range (47.), set up by Melker Widell. Stephen Eustáquio then drove in from outside the box (51.) after Filip Lissah's pass.

Lincoln introduced Chiedozie Ogbene, Yunus Konak and Mikkel Ladefoged (64.), and Ladefoged later headed wide as the hosts pushed (80.).

Lincoln recorded 13 attempts and two corners as they chased an equaliser. Swansea managed 10 attempts and controlled 68.8% possession to see the game out.

Lincoln visit Sheffield United next. Swansea host Norwich City next.
