The 29-year-old centre-forward scored his country's first goal of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after putting Switzerland up 1-0 over Qatar on Saturday.
It means the Rennes star is back amongst the goals on the international stage, boasting an impressive scoring records.
Since 2020, Embolo has scored at four consecutive major tournaments for Switzerland, totalling six goals.
He is now just the second Swiss player to ever to score at four separate major tournaments, after Xherdan Shaqiri (six).
And he's delivered the first penalty of the 2026 World Cup, too!
