The Desert Foxes suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat against Argentina in their opening match. They bounced back significantly by defeating Jordan 2-1. Finally, they clinched their knockout spot via an entertaining, chaotic 3-3 draw against Austria, courtesy of a brace from veteran Riyad Mahrez.
