With the Clausura 2026 now complete, it’s time to look back at some of the moments that defined Chivas’ semester. Among them are the crucial interventions made by Guadalajara’s goalkeepers, who stepped up whenever the team needed them most.
Raúl Rangel, firmly established as one of the best goalkeepers in the country and currently with the Selección Mexicana ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, once again put together a tournament full of spectacular saves. Meanwhile, Oscar Whalley showed great composure and character when called upon to defend Chivas’ goal during the final stretch of the season and throughout the playoffs, producing several outstanding stops that proved the Rebaño has two reliable options between the posts.
