Anderson Talisca, 32, has emerged as Fenerbahçe’s primary attacking weapon at the start of 2026-27 as OL prepare for the first leg of their play-off.
Le Progres points out that, while some in France might view Mason Greenwood as the chief danger, recent displays and numbers are clear. Talisca has five goals in five matches this season and is the standout forward.
OL have seen it before too. Talisca hit a brace against them for Besiktas in the 2017 Europa League, first with his right foot, then with a powerful header.
After spells in China and Saudi Arabia, the Brazilian returned to Türkiye in early 2025. His output since has been high, with 44 goals and 7 assists in 73 Fenerbahçe appearances.
Able to play as a 9 or a 10, and previously used on the right, he brings a broad skill set. The 1.90m attacker is two footed and dominant in the air.
Even in the 1-2 defeat at Gençlerbirliği, he scored, struck the woodwork twice and was denied by the goalkeeper. OL have ample reason for caution.
