Talks between unneeded Lazio midfielder Djavan Anderson and Crotone have come to a standstill, according to a report from Italian media outlet GianlucaDiMarzio.com earlier today.
The report details how the 25-year-old Dutch midfielder, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2023, still has doubts about the offer from the struggling Serie A side, despite his current position.
Anderson has been removed from Lazio’s Serie A squad registration list in order to make space for Bosnian veteran Senad Lulic, making him ineligible to feature for the remainder of the season.
Latest reports suggest that Anderson is more likely to decline the offer from Crotone than accept, although this could change if he decides to pursue regular football.
Anderson has only made three appearances in the league so far this season, for a total of 70 minutes, mostly featuring as a late substitute, although he did start in the 3-0 loss to Sampdoria earlier this season.
