Arsenal have announced that 20 players will be leaving the club this summer, across both the men’s and women’s teams.

Among the standouts to leave the men’s team include midfielder Jorginho, who made 27 appearances in all competitions for the club this past season.

The Italian joined Arsenal in January 2023 from Chelsea, helping the club to secure three consecutive runners up finishes in the Premier League.

Goalkeeper Neto and forward Raheem Sterling will also return to their parent clubs Bournemouth and Chelsea respectively.

Kieran Tierney is also leaving, and is set to re-join former club Celtic.

A host of youngsters will also depart, including Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, Khayon Edwards and Jack Henry-Francis.

But Arsenal say conversations are ongoing with midfielder Thomas Partey in the hope of extending his stay in north London. They would also like to keep 19-year-old Michal Rosiak at the club.

The 31-year-old has been at Arsenal since 2020 and was a key player last season, playing 52 times in all competitions.

Leaving the women’s team are Lina Hurtig, Teyah Goldie and Amanda Ilestedt.

Conversations are ongoing with Chloe Kelly over a permanent move, however, following her loan spell from Manchester City.

“We thank all the players leaving us for their contributions to the club,” Arsenal said in a statement. “You will always be part of the Arsenal family and we wish you all the best of health and happiness in your futures.

“Any further developments regarding players extending their contracts, as well as joining/re-joining, or leaving us, will be officially communicated when confirmed.”
