The English striker, who should return to Trigoria at the end of the season after his loan at Milan, has ended up in the sights of Fenerbahçe.

According to Takvim, the Turkish club’s interest is based on a direct request from José Mourinho.

The Portuguese coach, currently on the Fenerbahçe bench, knows Abraham well after having coached him at Roma and has indicated him as a priority reinforcement for the new season, in which the Istanbul club is openly aiming to win the national title.

Rumors speak of a possible transfer already during the summer: Abraham, 27, would represent a major international signing for Fenerbahçe, with the experience and ideal characteristics to lead the attack.

Roma, for its part, will have to evaluate the offers in light of the budget and the technical project under construction.
