Tarik Muharemovic reflected with pride and happiness on his Elland Road debut as Leeds United beat RB Leipzig 2-0 on Saturday.
The player said in a post on Instagram that he could not be more proud and happy to be there, signing off with MOT in a 13-word message.
Leeds produced another composed pre-season display, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring before the break and Lukas Nmecha adding a second after it. An early Joe Rodon burst down the right led to the cross for the opener.
Muharemovic started on the left of a back three alongside Rodon and Sebastiaan Bornauw, reading play well and showing his range of passing as Leeds kept Champions League Leipzig at bay. He was later replaced in the second half by Alfie Cresswell.
With the West Stand closed, Elland Road was short of full capacity, yet 24,630 created a strong pre-season atmosphere.
Daniel Farke also welcomed back Jaka Bijol, who had not featured in pre-season due to a minor issue. The Slovenian replaced Bornauw at the end of the first 60-minute period and played the full second hour, sharing some minutes with Muharemovic.
Leeds face Manchester United at Croke Park in Dublin on Wednesday, then host FC Augsburg on Saturday before starting their Premier League campaign at Nottingham Forest on Saturday August 22.
