Everton entertained Crystal Palace at Goodison Park earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Toffees made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
Jordan Ayew broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 66th minute. However, Amadou Onana equalised for the Merseyside club in the 84th minute as Everton had to settle for a hard-fought 1-1 draw in front of their home fans.
GK: Jordan Pickford – 6.5/10
The English keeper made a few solid saves inside his half but failed to secure a clean sheet tonight.
RB: Ben Godfrey – 7/10
He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and made one key chance going forward.
CB: James Tarkowski – 8/10
Tarkowski performed his defensive duties well and was a threat at the other end of the pitch.
CB: Jarrad Branthwaite – 7/10
He earned possession back a few times and was a strong presence in the air.

LB: Vitaliy Mykolenko – 7/10
Mykolenko kept things solid at the back and engineered some inviting chances for his teammates to score.
RW: Ashley Young – 6.5/10
He came back to defend when he could but didn’t offer much in the final third.
CM: Idrissa Gueye – 6.5/10
Gueye got stuck in with a few solid tackles but struggled to influence the game going forward.
CM: James Garner – 7/10
He anchored the midfield relatively well and was bright on the ball.
LM: Dwight McNeil – 7.5/10
McNeil managed to engineer a few promising chances for others around him and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CAM: Abdoulaye Doucoure – 6/10
He worked hard but struggled to get a foothold in the game.
ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 7.5/10
Calvert-Lewin was a lively presence in the final third but there was no goal for him.

He came off the bench to rescue a point for his team.

His impact on the game was minimal.
