Team GB are into the knockout phase with a game to spare after a narrow victory over hosts Japan in Group E.
It took until the 74th minute for the deadlock to finally be broken, when Ellen White leapt in front of goalkeeper Ayaka Yamashita to head home Lucy Bronze’s cross.
Hege Riise’s side face Canada next, while Japan will be hoping to get their first win of the Games when they face Chile.

The United States Women’s National Team bounced back from their shock defeat to Sweden with an emphatic victory over New Zealand in Group G.
And they took an early lead when Tobin Heath assisted Rose Lavelle to score her first ever Olympics goal after nine minutes.
Lindsey Horan then made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time with a powerful header.
Into the second half and the USWNT went 3-0 up when Carli Lloyd’s header across goal went in off Abby Erceg for an own goal.
But New Zealand then pulled one back when Paige Satchell set up Betsy Hassett to score.
It was soon 4-1 however, with Christen Press scoring her first Olympics goal to put the result beyond doubt.
And Alex Morgan then got in on the act to make it 5-1 when she converted from Press’s cross, before an own goal from New Zealand’s Catherine Bott in the dying minutes made it 6-1.
