Whilst all of the talk is currently about Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool future, Arne Slot is facing a bit of a headache ahead of the crucial clash against Inter Milan.
The Reds have won just four of their last 15 games across all competitions and come into this one off the back of a frustrating 3-3 draw at Leeds United.
However, things aren’t going to get easier for Slot, as his job comes under immense scrutiny.
Mohamed Salah was pictured in training but isn’t expected to travel with the squad for this one after his outburst on Saturday.
Three first-team players were also surprisingly absent from the session, leaving Slot with some big calls.
Whilst Salah was present in today’s session, Cody Gakpo, Federico Chiesa and Wataru Endo were all absent.
All three players could join Jeremie Frimpong and Giovanni Leoni on the sidelines, which would put more pressure on a Liverpool squad that is already struggling.

It could provide big opportunities for some of Liverpool’s youngsters to travel and be amongst the substitutes, but it’s certainly not ideal against a world-class Inter Milan side.
The absence of Gakpo, Chiesa and Salah could mean that we finally see both Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak deployed as a front two.
Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson, Bradley, Konate, van Dijk (C), Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Ekitike, Isak.
Bench: Mamardashvili, Woodman, Gomez, Lucky, Kerkez, Nyoni, Jones, Kone-Doherty, Ngumoha, Gordon
