Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for this afternoon’s Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen. The Scottish Champiojs are looking to complete a domestic clean sweep in a rematch of the iconic 2017 Final, which was settled by a fine Tom Rogic goal.
This time, Celtic will know that it will be a battle against an Aberdeen side that have shown real inconsistency this season. The 2-2 draw at Celtic Park last year will serve as a reminder that they are capable of giving Celtic a game.
Kasper Schmeichel starts in goals as the Dane looks to add a Scottish Cup to his trophy haul.
As expected, a back four including Greg Taylor, Liam Scales, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alistair Johnston starts.
In midfield, the manager has decided to go with Paulo Bernardo alongside Arne Engels in the middle with skipper Callum McGregor.
In attack, Adam Idah starts through the middle with Player of the Year Daizen Maeda on the left with Nicolas Kühn on the right.
Subs: Sinisalo, Trusty, Ralston, McCowan, Yang, Schlupp, Kenny, Forrest.
