Tengstedt double fires Toulouse to first league win and a jump to 12th | OneFootball

Toulouse beat Le Havre 3-2 at the Stadium de Toulouse to record their first Ligue 1 win of the season and rise from 17th to 12th.

Casper Tengstedt opened the scoring in the 49th minute, converting a penalty after Thomas Jørgensen was fouled by Ahmed Touba.

Moments later, Tengstedt doubled the lead with a glancing header from Jørgensen's delivery (51.).

Josh Maja halved the deficit with a close-range finish from Sota Nakamura's cross (71.). Jørgensen then restored the cushion with a composed strike from Cristian Casseres' pass (79.).

Mbwana Samatta bundled in late to set up a tense finish (88.). In second half stoppage time, Guillaume Restes saved low from Nakamura to protect the points.

Toulouse finished with 53.2% possession. Le Havre registered 18 attempts, seven on target.
