Terho snatches stoppage-time leveller as Fortuna climb to ninth

Fortuna Sittard and Sparta Rotterdam drew 2-2 in Sittard, the point lifting Fortuna from 12th to ninth in the Eredivisie while Sparta remain fifth.
Lance Duijvestijn opened the scoring in the 44th minute, steering in Ivo Pinto's low cross.
After the restart, Tobias Lauritsen levelled (62.) from close range as Sparta's pressure told.
Fortuna lost Pinto to injury after the hour, but substitute Yassin Oukili restored the lead (90.) from Neraysho Kasanwirjo's pass. It was Oukili's first goal for Fortuna.
Casper Terho, on from the bench, met Shunsuke Mito's cross in the sixth minute of second half stoppage time to equalise. It was Terho's first goal for Sparta.
Sparta tallied 16 attempts, delivered 44 crosses and controlled 64.7% possession with 13 corners as they chased the game. Fortuna produced 11 attempts and held 35.3% of the ball, with Luuk Koopmans making three saves.
Next up, Fortuna visit Ajax. Sparta host NEC Nijmegen.
