A leading member of the attacking ranks at Real Madrid has on Saturday come in for fresh widespread criticism on the part of the club’s supporters.

This comes owing to developments in Los Blancos’ latest outing.

Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action, in a Copa del Rey final showdown with arch rivals Barcelona.

As things stand, it is the latter who boast the advantage when it comes to both the scoreline, and the flow of the game.

Barcelona have dominated proceedings at La Cartuja, rewarded for as much by way of the opening goal courtesy of a Pedri stunner.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, have again largely toiled, with a number of Los Blancos’ leading stars struggling to keep pace with their counterparts in Hansi Flick’s squad.

And as alluded to above, in the midst of as much, one player who has been singled out for widespread criticism once more comes in the form of Rodrygo.

Afforded a starting berth by Carlo Ancelotti against Barca, the Brazilian failed to make any impact of note, looking completely lost on the right before being hooked at half-time.

And such shortcomings have not gone at all unnoticed on the part of the Real Madrid faithful, many of whom have been quick to make clear their anger with Rodrygo on Saturday:
