Thaciano starts season with a goal, eyes bigger role at Santos

Author of the winning goal for Santos against Novorizontino in the opening match of the Campeonato Paulista, Thaciano may get more minutes on the field after underperforming last season. Despite the arrival of Gabigol as competition in attack, Thaciano has an advantage over Tiquinho Soares to be the backup for the number 9 jersey.
