They may have lost 5-1, but Sunday’s best moment at the Women’s World Cup came late on in Thailand’s defeat to Sweden.
Their 13-0 loss to the USA made headlines around the world and all the signs were there for another battering in Nice.
But in added time, Kanjana Sungngoen raced through to give her country their first World Cup goal.
Cue the most amazing celebrations, with manager Nualphan Lamsam in flood of tears as the ball hit the back of the net.
