FLW takes a look at each player who is set to miss Leicester City's home clash with QPR on Saturday
Leicester City hosts Queens Park Rangers at the King Power Stadium at 3pm on Saturday, with this fixture being a huge one for both clubs for slightly different reasons.
Leicester have had a turgid season by almost all accounts, with the club in real danger of relegation to League One if they are not careful.
Now led by former Stoke City, Millwall, and Oxford United boss Gary Rowett, the Foxes sit just above the relegation zone as things stand on goal difference, level on points with Oxford, one point above West Brom, and one point beneath Blackburn Rovers.
Rowett was brought in to replace the outgoing Marti Cifuentes to try and keep the club afloat, and are looking for back-to-back wins in the league for just the third time this season.
Three points would go a long way to the Foxes' survival efforts, though QPR will be looking to spoil the party and to take the three points back to the capital, after an abysmal run of form has seen them slump down the league table.
QPR are not quite yet safe, with a victory here significantly solidifying their chances of survival, as FLW takes a look at the players from both sides set to miss this enthralling clash.

Bosnian goalkeeper Asmir Begovic was signed over the summer on a free transfer from QPR, with the veteran joining to be a backup to Jakub Stolarczyk.
However, the 38-year-old has played more than expetced due to the former Poland youth international's poor form between the sticks, though an ankle injury in the pre-match warmup has kept him out of action since, with Stolarczyk set to keep his place in goal.

Signed back in January 2023 for a Danish Superliga record fee of £17 million from FC Copenhagen, wing-back Victor Kristiansen has missed a huge portion of this season due to a recurring knee injury.
The 23-year-old made a brief comeback in Leicester's 2-2 draw away to Stoke City in February, but his injury has since re-aggravated, leaving him sidelined for this fixture.

Aston Villa academy graduate and brother of Newcastle United midfielder Jacob Ramsey, Aaron Ramsey joined the Foxes on loan from Burnley in the summer, and has had a torrid spell since his switch.
He was sent off after just 24 minutes on his Leicester debut, missing the next three matches due to suspension, and has since made just seven more appearances this campaign, with a recurring hamstring injury keeping him out of action.
The midfielder is not set to return for this fixture, as he battles to get back to full fitness.

Towering centre-back Harry Souttar joined Leicester in January 2023 from Stoke City for an initial £15 million, potentially rising to £20 million, and it would be fair to say that the deal hasn't worked out.
The Australian international ruptured his Achilles tendon back in December 2024 and has not made a professional appearance in well over a year, and not a single one for Leicester in over two years.
He has begun to return to training, though with his lengthy spell out, he remains some time away from returning to action, and could go this entire season without making an appearance.

Danish defender Jannik Vestergaard has yet to make an appearance under Rowett, with his last game coming in Cifuentes' final match at the helm.
He has been in light training since Thursday after recovering from a groin injury, though this game is expected to come too soon before he is ready to return, and when he does become available, he will have to displace one of Caleb Okoli or Ben Nelson in the heart of defence.

Little was made of Rumarn Burrell's move from Burton Albion to QPR in the summer, but the Jamaican has very quickly become one of the R's most important players.
He has been out of action since picking up an injury in their 3-0 home victory over Sheffield Wednesday, and with ten goals and three assists in 26 league games, manager Julien Stephan will be eager to get him back to fitness sooner rather than later after a hamstring problem.

Ilias Chair has fallen out of the limelight in West London over the past couple of seasons, with the Moroccan international having made just 11 league appearances this season.
He has been out of action since the beginning of December, with Stephan remaining tight-lipped about his current situation, as the 28-year-old is not expected to return for this game against Leicester.

Signed in the summer on a permanent deal after a promising loan spell from French side Stade Brestois, Karamoko Dembele has failed to hit the heights he once promised.
He first came to notoriety with Scottish side Celtic, playing in youth brackets well above his age, though this hype has slowly dissipated over time.
With just one goal and zero assists in 28 league games for the R's this season, it's been a disappointing year for Dembele, who is set to sit this one out with a knee injury.

Veteran defender Steve Cook was taken off for QPR's midweek defeat away to Birmingham City, and looks to be set for a spell on the sidelines, though no timeline on the injury has been given.
On Friday, Stephan said, "He had an assessment this morning. We don’t know exactly the result of the scan but it will probably be too short for tomorrow and let’s see what happens after.
The 34-year-old has remained a regular in the heart of the R's defence, and his absence will surely be felt by an already depleted squad.

Towering forward Justin Obikwu spent the first half of the season on loan with Lincoln City in League One, whose performances caught the eye of QPR, who signed him from parent club Coventry City permanently.
The Trinidad and Tobago international has yet to make an appearance since his move to London due to a shin injury, but Stephan hopes he will be available for their trip to Portsmouth next weekend.
Stephan said, "If he does a normal week next week perhaps he can be an option for the next game."
