Record signing Habib Diarra, who endured mixed fortunes in his first season, is in Senegal’s Group I with Iraq, Norway and France.
Chemsdine Talbi is called up by Morocco, who meet Brazil, Scotland and Isidor’s Haiti in Group C.
Omar Alderete is set to be the first Sunderland player in action when Paraguay face co-hosts the United States on day two, with Australia and Türkiye also in Group D.
Nilson Angulo has been selected by Ecuador, drawn with Germany, Ivory Coast and Curacao.
