Chelsea are looking for a centre back, midfielder and attacker this summer according to the latest report from The Athletic.
The Blues had a quiet January in which they recalled Mamadou Sarr and made no signings, despite trying to bring a new centre back in.
Chelsea pursued Rennes star Jeremy Jacquet for the majority of the window, but the 20-year-old opted to join Liverpool instead.
Given the injury issues with Romeo Lavia and Dario Essugo, the Blues also explored the possibility of bringing in short term cover in midfield.
Chelsea made an approach for Douglas Luiz, but the Brazil international ended up joining Aston Villa for the remainder of the season.

All focus will now be on the summer window, and Chelsea already have Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha arriving.
However, the Blues will certainly be looking to do further business, and The Athletic have reported Chelsea desire a new centre back, midfielder and attacker, despite the arrival of Quenda.
The report adds a decision will also be taken on whether Mike Penders will be part of the first team squad next season.
The summer window is looking increasingly important, and it’s vital Chelsea add proven quality in several key areas of the pitch, which they haven’t done in previous windows.
Despite wanting to add a centre back and attacker, it’s been reported the priority for Chelsea is a new midfielder to lessen the burden on Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

The Blues have been linked with the likes of Adam Wharton and Elliot Anderson, but will face competition from a number of clubs for the duo.
It will be interesting to see what route they go down, but whoever they end up signing has got to be starting level quality, and be able to make a pretty instant impact.
