Chelsea take on Wolves tomorrow, a team rooted to the bottom of the Premier League, who at one point this season looked like they might break Derby’s record for fewest points.
They’ve improved a little since then, but they’re clearly already preparing for life in the Championship. It’s a perfect chance for us to score some goals and get a really confident win, and a perfect chance for Cole Palmer to do his thing.
Liam Rosenior has confirmed his attacking talisman is fit to play 90 minutes if needed. So there is no need to rest him or rotate him: he needs to start, play, get some minutes in his legs and confidence in his mind.

In the pre-match press conference yesterday, Rosenior defended his decisions to slow roll Palmer so far as the attacker struggles with an ongoing groin issue:
“Cole’s bought in [to the rehab process] and been magnificent. He wants to be playing every minute of every game.
“We know the player that he is and the character that he is, but he’s also maturing as a human being. He understands the bigger picture, which is his career.”
We’re fine with Cole being used sparingly – it’s when he’s on the pitch and not playing well that we get worried. We’re praying we see him at his flowing best tomorrow.
Alejandro Garnacho is set for more minutes after the injury to Jamie Gittens – but Chelsea need to figure out how to get the best out of him. Liam Rosenior’s tactics have been blamed for some of his poor form.
Enzo Fernandez is a consistent goal threat for Chelsea, and he’s incredibly managed to match a Frank Lampard goalscoring stat – not something it’s very easy to do.
