FC Barcelona has confirmed that their Champions League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt, scheduled for December 9 at 9:00 p.m., will indeed be played at Spotify Camp Nou. This is major news as the stadium is still undergoing modernization. The Catalan club has obtained the first occupancy permit for phase 1B of the renovation works, allowing for increased capacity and the full reopening of the lateral stand.

“This permit adds to the one already granted for phase 1A and takes effect after UEFA approved the request,” the statement specifies,

emphasizing that all safety requirements have been validated.

Barça has also reassured its supporters: holders of the 2025/26 Season Pass will be automatically admitted for this European showdown. The club will soon provide details about ticket sales—a highly anticipated update as the gradual reopening of Camp Nou sparks massive excitement across Catalonia.
