Inter Miami has the difficult task of defeating Charlotte FC at the Bank of America Stadium to continue in the Supporters Shield race and their hope of qualifying for the playoffs.

With Luis Suarez suspended after the Sounders incident, the Herons face the challenge of adjusting their lineup to maintain offensive strength in his absence.

The good news for the Herons is that this morning, during training, Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul trained with the group without any physical issues.

Wilfred Zaha

The player everyone expected to be on this list. With international experience, Zaha has rapidly become the most powerful weapon in the roster. In his MLS debut, the Ivorian was named Man of the Match, starting a revolution at the Crown.

Before the former Crystal Palace legend arrived, Charlotte was going through a rough patch, with very poor performances in cup competitions and few victories in MLS.

Since his signing, the Crown’s performance has skyrocketed into third place in the Eastern Conference. With 50 points, four more than the Herons, the Royals are in the fight for the conference title.

However, what makes Zaha so dangerous, and one of his team's best players, for Inter Miami? The answer is simple.

His agility and speed make him a threat to the defender. He plays as a winger, where he creates more danger, but you can often see him as a striker. That versatility is a strong point for the Ivorian.

Being able to switch positions without lowering his level is something few players can do.

Going back to his agility, Zaha attracts defenders, leaving open spaces for his teammates to take advantage of.

Knowing the defensive problems the Heron has, the fullbacks must be careful not to leave him alone. Also, Wilfred Zaha is a foul generator for his team, which means Inter Miami’s defenders and midfielders must be careful with their bookings.

Adilson Malanda

At only 23 years old, Malanda has been included in the Early Best XI. Meaning he is among the best center-backs of the league. A detail that the Herons should not forget, as they will play on Saturday without their primary offensive weapon, Luis Suarez.

The French defender became the defensive leader, organizing and transmitting security to his teammates. With an imposing physique and impressive height, Inter Miami will have to play on the ground due to the aerial abilities of Malanda.

Without hesitation, the young defender is known for his defensive solidity. His passes between lines, interceptions, and clearances make him a valuable asset for the team's current winning streak.

Inter Miami is not a physical team; everybody knows this. That’s why, to neutralize Malanda, they need to drag him out of his position, leaving spaces on his back.
