FLW takes a look at the Championship table since Clement joined the Canaries after Wilder claimed that Norwich are in a false position.
Norwich City's incredible rise up the Championship table under Philippe Clement continued on Wednesday evening, as they ran out 2-1 winners at home to Sheffield United at Carrow Road - all but ending the Blades' hopes of a play-off finish in the process.
Goals from Jack Stacey and Amankwah Forson handed the Canaries all three points after the visitors had opened the scoring in the first-half through Jairo Riedewald. The win has taken the Norfolk outfit up to 15th in the table, and they have maintained their 10-point gap to the bottom three, while also closing the gap to the top six to nine points.
After an incredibly tough start to the campaign under Liam Manning, City have pushed on excellently, and under the guidance of Clement, they have been one of the teams to watch in the second tier.
Now, following comments made by Chris Wilder after the final whistle, Football League World has taken a look at the Championship table since the Belgian took charge of Norwich.

The last few months have been extremely positive for the Canaries, and Wilder recognised their form after his side's defeat on Wednesday. He said (via: Pink Un).
"They're obviously in decent nick since the manager has come in. I knew it was going to be a difficult game, the way they've been playing and the results that they're getting. "They are in a false position (in the table), but I think we quietened the crowd and we nullified Kenny (McLean) dropping into the back three and Sam Field dropping in and we were in a good place."
The 58-year-old is right, with Norwich sixth in the Championship table since Clement took charge of the side. Only the current top four (Millwall, Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Middlesbrough) as well as Sheffield United themselves have accrued more points since 18 November.
The Canaries have the fourth best PPG record since that date, having played a game fewer than all those above themselves in this particular table, and they will be a threat next season if they continue their form heading into 2026/27, with promotion surely the aim.
Manning's connection to the club made it look like a match made in heaven when he became the new head coach of the Canaries in the summer. However, he picked up just 9 points from his 15 games, with six of those coming in his first four matches.

Norwich won only twice under the current Huddersfield Town boss, and the decision to let him go in favour of hiring Clement has proven to be inspired, although it arguably happened too late to allow the team to push for the play-offs this season.
Nevertheless, after securing a substantial fee for Josh Sargent in recent weeks, there will be plenty of opportunities for Norwich to make the necessary changes to their squad in the summer to close the gap to the top sides in the division even more.
