Group B

Canada 1-1 Bosnia and Herzegovina

Attacking Impact: Jovo Lukić

OneFootball Videos

Lukić scored Bosnia and Herzegovina’s only goal of the game with a headed effort from a corner in the first half, which ultimately saw him lead the way with an attacking score of 8.7.

With a little over 20 minutes gone in Toronto, a perfectly delivered cross from Ivan Basic was flicked on by Sead Kolašinac, and it was Lukić who rose above everyone to find the back of the net.

Creativity Influence: Liam Millar

Boasting a rating of 7.3, Canada midfielder Millar was one of the greatest creative threats across the 90 minutes, owing to his 1v1 moments and ball progression.

His passing helped the hosts break their opponents’ defensive lines as they searched for a crucial equaliser, which eventually came just before the 80th minute through Cyle Larin.

Defending Influence: Derek Cornelius

At the other end of the pitch, Canada’s Cornelius was the star performer from a defensive standpoint with an impressive score of 7.9.

Given Canada’s desire to play with a high line, his recovery pace was key to defending the spaces behind their backline and he made seven clearances in total, with three tackles also won.

Group D

USA 4-1 Paraguay

Attacking Impact: Folarin Balogun

To little surprise, it was striker Balogun who recorded the highest attacking score of 7.7 thanks to his impressive first-half brace, which ensured Mauricio Pochettino’s side boasted a comfortable lead at the break.

He registered four attempts on goal before he was substituted after the 70th minute, and all of those were high-quality chances as all four were on target while two found the back of the net.

Creativity Influence: Julio Enciso

Despite Paraguay's disappointing defeat at the hands of the USA, attacker Enciso proved to be the most creative influence in the game with an impressive overall score of 8.2.

He was his team’s key attacking outlet, especially in transition moments, due to his ball progression and ability to get in behind the USA defence.

Defending influence: Tyler Adams

After an impressive season for his club, it is no surprise Adams began his World Cup™ campaign with a solid defensive display against Paraguay, delivering an overall score of 8.2.

In total, he forced 11 turnovers and regained possession 11 times, all of which allowed the USA to sustain pressure and disrupt their opponents’ ability to hit them on the break.

At the FIFA World Cup 2026™, FIFA launched a new individual player ranking system based on data collected during matches. The FIFA Power Rankings provide objective, data-driven insight into player performance.

All outfield players will receive a score between 0-10 in three categories (attacking, creativity and defending). Goalkeepers will be scored in two categories: in possession and defending the goal. A ‘Power Ranking Classification’ will be produced after each match round, showing the top 100 players in each category. The Power Ranking is considered as a measure of match and tournament performance: each player receives a score for each match and for their overall performance in the tournament.
