Declan Rice celebrated a career milestone this weekend after making his 300th appearance in the Premier League.

Rice brought up his 300th top-flight game as Arsenal won 4-0 at Leeds United to extend their lead in the Premier League title race.

The England international broke into the West Ham team as a teenager and, alongside his talent, his availability has been an important asset to his teams.

Rice has become the fifth-youngest footballer to reach 300 games in the Premier League, having missed just six games through injury and illness since his top-flight debut against Burnley on the final day of the 2016-17 campaign.

Wayne Rooney holds the record as the youngest player to reach 300 appearances in the Premier League. The ex-Everton and Manchester United forward made his debut at 16, and reached 300 games aged 26 years and 58 days.

Only four players have ever reached that milestone under the age of 27. James Milner, Gareth Barry and Raheem Sterling have also done so. Interestingly, Milner is now just one appearance from matching Barry’s Premier League record of 653 games.
