La Gazzetta dello Sport identifies Adrien Rabiot and Scott McTominay as two of the key players in the upcoming Serie A clash between Milan and Napoli: ‘The giants’ weight.’
Milan and Napoli, two of the most in-form teams in Serie A meet at San Siro on Sunday with midfielders Rabiot and McTominay among the players to watch.

Friday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport previews the game with a view on the two midfield stars.
Rabiot only joined Milan on deadline day, but has immediately become a regular starter under Massimiliano Allegri.
It was not surprising to see the Frenchman straight in the Rossoneri’s XI as Allegri already coached Rabiot at Juventus and the pair have a very strong bond.
Rabiot has made two Serie A appearances since joining Milan. He played 180 minutes, provided one assist and had an average of six duels won per game, plus 0.5 shots per game.
McTominay’s background is slightly different as the Scottish star has just started his second season at the Stadio Maradona after being named the best Serie A player in 2024-25.

The former Manchester United star is technically a central midfielder, but has been playing as a left midfielder since the start of the season, continuing to be a threat to Napoli’s opponents, just like last season.
McT has made four Serie A appearances so far, playing 359 minutes, scoring one goal and providing one assist. He has also won five duels per game on average and recorded 2.6 shots per game.
A new Serie A season has only just started, but Milan and Napoli’s fortunes in Sunday’s big game will probably largely depend on their midfield stars.
