Kane is just the third non-German to finish as the Bundesliga’s leading scorer on multiple occasions, after Tony Yeboah and Robert Lewandowski.

The England captain finished five goals clear of nearest challenger Serhou Guirassy and was also recognised with the Bundesliga Player of the Season award.

La Liga – Kylian Mbappe (31)

Kylian Mbappe ended his first season in Spain by winning a maiden European Golden Shoe.

Mbappe beat Robert Lewandowski to the Pichichi Trophy and led all of Europe to add the Golden Shoe after netting 31 times in La Liga.

He is the first Frenchman since Thierry Henry to win the Golden Shoe and just the third Real Madrid player to win the award, after Hugo Sanchez and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ligue 1 – Ousmane Dembele and Mason Greenwood (21)

Ousmane Dembele and Mason Greenwood tied as Ligue 1’s leading scorers in 2024/25.

Dembele was named Ligue 1’s Player of the Season after a stunning individual campaign, in which the Frenchman led PSG to a domestic treble. His 33 goals in all competitions are more than the 28-year-old managed in the previous five seasons combined.

Greenwood’s 21 goals fired Marseille to a runners-up finish and Champions League qualification.

Premier League – Mohamed Salah (29)

Mohamed Salah equalled the Premier League’s Golden Boot record after claiming a fourth award this season.

Salah led the league for goals with 29, finishing comfortably clear of Alexander Isak and Erling Haaland. The 32-year-old also led the Premier League for assists (18) and set a new record for goal involvements in a 38-game season.

Serie A – Mateo Retegui (25)

But for Gianluca Scamacca’s long-term injury, Atalanta might not have even signed Mateo Retegui last summer. The €28m deal instead proved to be an inspired investment, as the forward led Serie A for goals.

Retegui scored 25 times to help Atalanta to Champions League qualification and became just the second player to win the Capocannoniere award while representing the Bergamo outfit, after Filippo Inzaghi (1996/97).
