Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pape Matar Sarr has ‘reached an agreement’ with Galatasaray over personal terms over a switch to Istanbul this summer, leaving the Turkish side ready to pounce when a player leaves.
The Turkish giants earmarked the midfielder during the winter window, although nothing materialised at the time and it appears they have been content to wait until this summer.
The Cimbom have kept an eye on developments in N17 and have ramped up their interest in Sarr of late.

Galatasaray have been handed encouragement by suggestions that Spurs are prepared to sanction Sarr’s departure before the window closes.
There had even been speculation that the Yellow Reds had tabled a bid to prise the Senegalese away from N17, although those claims were subsequently played down.

According to Turkish outlet Spor Depor, Galatasaray have ‘reached an agreement’ with Sarr over personal terms, handing the Cimbom’s pursuit a boost.
With the midfielder’s approval secured, the Yellow Reds could now move swiftly, with the Turkish champions understood to be well prepared to take the next step.
Before that can happen, however, Galatasaray must first clear space in their midfield by offloading Mario Lemina; the moment he leaves they can sign the Spurs man.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have already bolstered their engine room with the big-money arrivals of Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, prompting Sarr to consider a fresh destination, which could now be Istanbul.

A move to Turkey could hand Sarr the prospect of more regular football while placing him in the Cimbom’s pursuit of another Super Lig title and a Champions League campaign.
The Senegal international already saw his involvement diminish last season and he could be edging towards an exit from Spurs if the remaining pieces fall into place.
The extent to which Galatasaray and Tottenham have advanced towards an agreement remains unclear, while the financial terms of any prospective deal are also yet to surface.
Another potential departure from north London could involve Destiny Udogie, with Roma interested in the defender, although the Italian outfit are unwilling to wait indefinitely
