Erling Haaland continued his extraordinary start to the season at the weekend, with two goals in Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

Haaland has already hit 13 goals in the Premier League this season, more than double the return of the next-highest scorers (6).

The Norwegian’s freakish form has become the norm since his arrival in England, and Haaland is now just two goals from reaching a century in the Premier League.

Haaland is on course to become the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goals, surpassing Alan Shearer, who achieved the feat in 124 matches. Haaland has played just 107 games in the division to date.

Such has been his prolificacy, Haaland is now competing against himself when it comes to individual records. His 13 goals this season is the joint-second most scored after 10 games in a Premier League campaign.

The player with the record? Haaland. In fact, he holds four of the top five places, despite playing just four seasons in English football.
