The new Provstgaard? Lazio monitoring 19-year-old Noah Markmann | OneFootball

Lazio are monitoring FC Nordsjælland’s Noah Markmann as they look to finish reshaping their defence.

According to The Laziali, the 19-year-old centre-back is on their list and the club could take concrete steps in the coming days, especially if they give up on Sergi Dominguez. Markmann has been in Nordsjælland’s first team since 2024 and has made 38 appearances.

Lazio have sold Mario Gila to AC Milan, and Alessio Romagnoli could still complete a move to Al-Sadd despite recent bureaucratic hurdles. Danilho Doekhi has arrived on a free from Union Berlin, yet another centre-back is sought alongside Oliver Provstgaard, Patric and Samuel Gigot.

In recent weeks the club chased Dominguez but did not meet Dinamo Zagreb’s demands. Angelo Fabiani and colleagues have assessed alternatives, including Fiorentina’s Pietro Comozzi.

Markmann’s contract with Nordsjælland runs until June 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates his value at €2.5 million. He would find compatriots Gustav Isaksen and Provstgaard in Rome, and as a right-footed defender he might one day partner the left-footed Provstgaard.
