The Philadelphia Union are on a historic run in MLS play 📈 | OneFootball

The Philadelphia Union are simply one of the hottest teams in any league across football right now. 

After beating Orlando City this evening in MLS play, they moved to within four points of the Eastern Conference's top-four. 

The Union were four goals to the good with a helping hand from an Milan Iloski hat-trick, his second this season in MLS.

But with the win the Union made some staggering league history. 

Philadelphia have now taken 32 points from their last 12 matches, tied for the most points in any 12-game span in MLS history. The last team to accomplish the feat was the Seattle Sounders in 2018.

What's more, the Union started the season in dreadful form before sacking manager Bradley Carnell before the World Cup. 

Interim head coach Ryan Richter has stepped in and lead the Union on this staggering run, perhaps working his way to into the permanent job. 

What a stretch!
