Which Premier League players have created the most chances so far in the 2025/26 season?

=9. Declan Rice (Arsenal) – 18

Declan Rice is enjoying yet another strong campaign as one of Arsenal’s most important players. The midfielder has been digging in on the defensive side of the ball, but chipping in on the attacking end as well.

Many of the 18 chances he’s created have come from set pieces, which has become a major part of the Gunners’ game under Mikel Arteta, and he has registered two goals and two assists in the first 11 Premier League games this term.

=9. Sean Longstaff (Leeds United) – 18

Sean Longstaff has lowkey been having a very good campaign with Leeds United. He’s been their top chance creator thus far, and has also scored one goal and made two assists.

=9. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (Everton) – 18

After failing to break into Chelsea’s first team, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has reinvigorated his career at Everton. He’s been one of the Toffees most important players on both sides of the ball, combining well with Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye in attack while cleaning up in midfield.

8. Bryan Mbeumo (Man Utd) – 19

By the end of the season this will probably be seen as one of the best transfers of the summer. Bryan Mbeumo has been very good for Manchester United since joining from Brentford, finding the net five times in 11 top-flight appearances. He should probably also have more than one assist from 19 chances created, but he will surely add to that number.

7. Alex Iwobi (Fulham) – 20

Alex Iwobi has cemented himself as the creative hub of Marco Silva’s Fulham, although he would probably be a lot happier with his contributions if his teammates would put away more of the many chances he’s creating. No player has completed more passes into the penalty area, with only Dewsbury-Hall and Mo Salah matching his 24.

=4. Mo Salah (Liverpool) – 21

Speaking of whom, Mo Salah is still contributing to Liverpool’s attack at a decent rate, even if he is not reaching the high levels he’s shown in previous years. The Egyptian winger is not making as many chances for himself, but he’s still laying them up for others, although he only has two assists so far.

=4. Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) – 21

Cody Gakpo can be a frustrating player to watch if you’re a Liverpool fan, but he has arguably been their second most effective attacker behind Hugo Ekitike. The left winger has three goals and two assists in the Premier League this season.

=4. Phil Foden (Man City) – 21

Phil Foden has gradually found his way back into for Manchester City, providing four goals and three assists in all competitions. Only two of his goal involvements have come in the league, but one imagines he will have more of an impact as the campaign goes on.

3. Jeremy Doku (Man City) – 23

Virtually everyone wrote Jeremy Doku off after last season, but the Belgian winger has hit back with a vengeance. He has been putting in consistently good performances, the best of which came against Liverpool this past weekend, and has the end product to match it, registering a goal and three assists.

2. Jack Grealish (Everton) – 24

It is so good to see Jack Grealish doing what he does best; getting on the ball loads, taking on his man, whipping in crosses for his teammates. The Everton loanee is currently joint-top of the Premier League for assists (4) and it would not be a shock to see him remain there by season’s end.

1. Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd) – 29

Despite moving to a deeper position in midfielder, Bruno Fernandes continues to play a pivotal role to United’s attack. He’s only got three assists from a massive 29 chances created, but with the team’s attack improving in recent weeks that number will improve over the coming months.
