The 2025/26 Premier League season has come to an end and clubs will now turn their full attention towards planning for the future.
With most football contracts typically expiring on June 30, a number of stars across the league will become available as free agents at the end of next month.
Here are some of the biggest names in the Premier League that are set to be free agents this summer…
Manchester City duo Bernardo Silva and John Stones have both said their goodbyes in recent days as they leave the club. Both will be available as free agents this summer after their contracts expired.
Silva has drawn interest from Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona, while Stones has been linked with Bayern Munich, Everton and Barcelona.
Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson also said farewell to their club on the final day of the season. Both will be free agents after Robertson’s contract expired and Salah’s was mutually terminated.
Robertson is close to joining Tottenham Hotspur, although could move elsewhere in Europe. Salah, meanwhile, is expected to leave European football behind. The Egyptian has been linked to both the Saudi Pro League and the MLS.
Ibrahima Konate will be a free agent this summer after failing to agree a contract extension with Liverpool. The 27-year-old centre-back’s current deal expires on June 30 and he will become a free agent if no agreement is reached before then. The France international has drawn interest from the likes of Real Madrid and PSG in the past.
Marcos Senesi will be a free agent following the expiration of his deal with Bournemouth. The 29-year-old centre-back has impressed across his four years with the Cherries. He started every league game last term, bar one due to suspension, as Bournemouth secured their best-ever league finish. The Argentina International has been heavily-linked with Tottenham since before the season seven ended.
Harry Wilson is another Premier League star who could be available for free this summer. The Wales international enjoyed the best campaign of his career, but has not extended at Craven Cottage. Fulham still want the winger to stay but a number of Premier League clubs are interested in the winger.
Fulham are also hoping to maintain the services of Raul Jimenez. The Mexican striker netted nine Premier League goals last term. Now aged 34, he is seeking a two-year deal but has so far only received a one-year offer at Craven Cottage. Jimenez also has other admirers across the division.
Daichi Kamada was brought to Crystal Palace by Oliver Glasner, after the pair worked together at Eintracht Frankfurt. Now that the Austrian coach is leaving the club, the Japanese midfielder is following suit. A number of Premier League rivals are keen on the 29-year-old, who also has interest from abroad and may wait to see where Glasner ends up.
The Premier League and Manchester United said goodbye to Casemiro on the final day. The Brazil international will be a big loss for the Reds, as he leaves a free agent. The 34-year-old is expected to leave European football behind.
After a successful four and a half years with Newcastle, Kieran Trippier will depart as a free agent this summer. The right-back played a huge role in the Magpies’ recent history. It is unclear where the 35-year-old will land next, with interest both in England and abroad.
Yves Bissouma could be released by Tottenham this summer after a disappointing four-year spell. The midfielder was highly-sought after when he arrived from Brighton. However he has struggled with form, fitness and discipline throughout his time in north London. The 29-year-old has admirers in Turkey, although Spurs do have the option to extend his deal by a year, to prevent him leaving for free.
