New Birmingham City signing Marvin Ducksch has revealed a terrifying tattoo covering his back.
Birmingham have been active during this summer window as they prepare for life back in the Championship following a record-point season in League One, with the Blues heavily tipped to be in a promotion battle once again.
Chris Davies' side have made eleven additions to an already extremely strong squad, with German striker Ducksch becoming the latest addition at St Andrews.
The Blues open their season on Friday night as they host freshly-relegated Ipswich Town, in what could very well be one of the most hotly-contested affairs of the season.
Birmingham are in line to give numerous players their debuts against the Tractor Boys, with Ducksch set to miss the first few matches due to a minor knock.
Ducksch, 31, spent his entire career in Germany prior to his £1.75 million move to Birmingham from Bundesliga side Werder Bremen, having played for clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Fortuna Dusseldorf and Hannover 96 as well as Bremen.
The six-foot-two German international is a huge physical presence, having scored 54 goals and notched a further 40 assists in 134 appearances across all competitions during his four years in Bremen, giving defenders nightmares whenever he has played.
A modern day target forward, Ducksch posseses the ability to score and bring others into play by holding the ball up, which will no doubt prove to be a useful tool for Birmingham this season.
However, Ducksch might be giving Championship defenders nightmares for an entirely different reason.
The German, along with a couple of flower tattoos on his arms, has a giant depiction of Stephen King's Pennywise the Clown covering his back.
Whilst, you would imagine, Ducksch will have his shirt on the vast majority of the time, it is still a daunting thing to have inked permanently onto your skin, and we may catch glimpses of it should he be racing away in celebration after a goal at some stage.
Birmingham have largely been backed by fans and pundits alike to have another strong season after breaking the EFL points record last season in League One, collecting 111 points across 46 matches, an average of 2.41 points per game.
Ducksch's signing takes Birmingham to upwards of £40 million spent across the last two seasons alone, so it is therefore understandable as to why many are predicting them to do well once again this season.
Ducksch will have to compete with Lyndon Dykes, Jay Stansfield, Kyogo Furuhashi and Tyler Roberts in the forward areas, with the Blues possessing some of the most exciting attacking players in the league.
Davies' side were also heavily interested in bringing former Arsenal and Middlesbrough forward Chuba Akpom to the second city, but have seemingly been pipped to his signature by Friday night opponents Ipswich.
