The starting lineups are in as Manchester City prepare to take on Bournemouth

Manchester City and Bournemouth have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of tonight’s huge Premier League fixture. There is plenty on the line for both teams entering tonight’s match. City have to win to have any chance of winning this season’s Premier League title. Anything less than three points for City tonight will see Arsenal crowned as Premier League champions for the 2025-26 season. If City win, the title race will go down to the final day. For Bournemouth, they need a point from their final two matches to earn themselves European football for next season. Also, tonight is Andoni Iraola’s last home match as Bournemouth manager, so the Cherries have plenty to play for tonight and they enter tonight’s match off the back of 16 match unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Manchester City enter tonight’s match with basically a clean bill of health across the entire squad. Perhaps the only concern for City is Rodri. The Ballon d’Or-winning midfielder returned for City’s FA Cup win over Chelsea after missing five matches due to a groin injury. He got through an hour in the FA Cup final and did look short of a gallop during the match. It seems unlikely that Rodri could back up so quickly to start another match.
